LoveSeat is a husband/wife duo including veteran troubadour Bill ‘Poss’ Passalacqua and his musical upstart wife, JJ Passalacqua. Bill Poss has previously released 5 studio albums and one streaming-only live album. After graduating from law school, Bill decided to ditch the law, sold everything except a guitar and a backpack full of clothes. He started living in his truck, driving around from gig to gig. Over time he eventually joined forces with the Ginn Sisters, then with the Fred Eaglesmith Traveling Steam Show. He landed back in his home town of Effingham, IL in 2013 where he started the Moccasin Creek Festival, then met and married JJ, who has been a full time nurse for 30 years, coming to the music business later. After she met Bill, the two started singing together and eventually they began writing songs together and, thus, LoveSeat was born.
