Since 2006, the Backyard BBQ Band has been playing music that’s perfect for a backyard party including trad country, blues, originals, western swing and more. From Hank Williams to Louis Jordan, from Chicago to New Orleans and back again, join the band for a road trip through a musical roadmap of American roots music. The band plays song you know and songs that you’ll want to know. Based in Urbana, IL, the band is fronted by head chefs Doug Schroer (harmonicas) and Rob Krumm (guitar). For the Folk and Roots Festival, the band will include Clayton Burke on steel guitar, Edgar Gutierrez on triple-row accordion and Sean Kutzko on drums.
