It is with great sadness that we share news of the loss of Garry Harrison, a fabulous fiddler and conservator of rural downstate Illinois’ musical traditions.
Garry’s band, the New Mules, performed at the 2010 C-U Folk and Roots Festival. Here’s a video of them playing for our contra dance.
