In the Québec fiddle workshop, David Boulanger will teach different bowing techniques and ornamentations as well as how to “swing” — things that makes Québec fiddling one of a kind. These techniques will be taught through the teaching of two Québec tunes which will include one crooked tune. The workshop is for advanced students (which means that we will be focusing more on techniques than spending time on learning a tune).
