Once again, the Urbana Business Association is collaborating with the CU Folk and Roots Festival to bring a folk and roots stage to the Urbana Sweet Corn Festival, which takes place on Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27. Check out this great line-up at the Folk and Roots Stage!
Friday, August 26, 6:00pm-11:00pm:
- 6:00-6:45pm: Reverend Robert (acoustic blues guitar)
- 7:15-8:15: Almost “A” (quirky jazz)
- 8:30-9:30pm: Blunderbuss Trio (bluegrass, country, old-time tunes from Chicago)
- 10:00-11:00pm: Bones, Jugs (21st century throwback to 1920’s ragtime, a new-agey jugband twist)
Saturday, August 27,6:00pm-11:00pm:
- 6:00-6:45pm: Big Bluestem (folk, old-time, bluegrass)
- 7:15-8:15pm: Church Street Ramblers (traditional jazz)
- 8:30-9:30pm: Hot Iron String Band (old-time string band)
