The Young and the Fretless plays old-time mountain music on the prairie–a mix of Appalachian Mountain and Midwestern tunes and songs. Its members are Lyle Konigsberg (fiddle), Tom Bassett (fretless banjo and banjo ukulele), Matt Croisant (guitar), and Chris Strand (bass).
