D.C-based bandoneonist Heyni Solera and tango cellist Maxfield Wollam-Fisher continue their residency with us here in Champaign-Urbana, joined this year by bandoneonist Rodrigo Avalos from Buenos Aires, bassist Laura Camacho originally from Buenos Aires now based in Athens, GA, and violinist Teagan Faran from DePauw University. In addition, Daniela Roig returns to Champaign-Urbana and joins Hernan Prieto for dance workshops, performances, and private lessons.
