Join the Urbana Backdoor Cajun Band for an evening of traditional Cajun, soulful Creole and get-down Zydeco music. Come on out for some social distance dancing and have some fun with us on the Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend. Music starts at 6:00. Matt Turino on fiddle, Rob Krumm on accordion, Sam Payne on guitar, Charlie Harris on bass and Dave Pride on percussion. Allons!

Greetings friends and music lovers,

Just in time for Mardi Gras, I’ll be playing music with Dennis Stroughmatt on Friday, Feb. 12. We’ll be streaming from the Rose Bowl in Urbana and the show will start at 8:00 PM CST.

Along with Greg Bigler (on bass), we’ll be taking a Mardi Gras Road Trip that will include French songs from Old Upper Louisiana (Missouri-Illinois-Indiana), and Cajun & Creole music from southwest Louisiana. We’ll also make a brief stop in New Orleans somewhere along the way.
