Kevin Elliott is an Urbana musician, DJ, counselor, business owner, bicyclist, & stay-at-home grandpa. He has been hosting his radio show, From the Joshua Tree Inn, on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 PM on WEFT, 90.1 FM, for 21 years & has as much fun now as he did the day he started. He has an independently released CD, You Really Had To Be There from 2006, plus two CD’s released on the Soona Songs label, It’s A Circus Here, Dolores from 2011, & the new release, Patterns Of Blue, from 2016. He has been a performer & presenter at the Champaign-Urbana Folk & Roots festival on numerous occasions.
Whitney Bembenek just moved to the area from Detroit, MI, and began singing professionally in 2009 by sweet accident while living in a tiny town in the Dominican Republic. She loves sharing her authentic voice, and tends to do so through fusions of soul, jazz, old spirituals, classical and R&B.
Marilyn Duncan is a veteran singer/songwriter who started on the Austin folk scene in the late 1960s. She claims home town status in Dallas, Nova Scotia, Maryland, and now Tennessee. Marilyn’s music is personal and contemplative, touching on folk, blues, jazz, and rock influences, and ballads that reach deep into the American past through family history.
Graham Duncan is a singer-songwriter who fronts the indie band Again Is Already and the alternative rock band Radiophonic. His songs explore themes of alienation, the darker sides of inner lives, along with the absurdity, snark, and quirky humor of the modern privileged existence. In addition to writing and performing, Graham is a professional recording and mastering engineer.
