As you wander through Lincoln Square on Saturday, between 11:00am and 5:00pm check out Artisan Alley! Here you’ll find luthiers, instrument builders, instrument demonstrations and the like – all sharing their unique creations and talents.
Paul Kotheimer’s “Lefty Heaven,” a southpaw instrument petting zoo. Paul will have on hand 1 nylon string acoustic guitar, 3 standard steel string acoustics, 1 fretless acoustic guitar, 2 electric guitars, 2 electric basses, and 1 upright bass, all strung lefty!
Luthier Hector Trevino‘s guitars, Swedish Instrument maker Don Peterson (Hardanger fiddles and Nyckelharpas!), John Coppess’s leather guitar straps and accessories, mountain dulcimer try-its with Hilary Valentine, Matt Peckham’s vintage instruments, Bruce Pea of ARS Harmonia’s handmade speakers, and Tony Taylor’s home made cigar box guitars!
