We are in the 10th year The Kalyx Barn Dances and it should be a good one with local favorites Too Old To be Controlled playing great tunes all night and Dance Mistress Deborah Hyland calling fun and invigorating dances for us! There will be one of Bill’s famous bonfires at the break and fun had by all! Come early for a potluck and stay late for the camping!

Weekly Blues Lesson and Dance

On Monday evenings we gather for a lesson and dance at Guido’s Bar & Grill. The lesson and the dance are both FREE.

Beginner-Friendly Lesson: 6-7pm. Our friendly and experienced instructors Jennifer, Sierra, and Dave share the teaching role.

Blues Social Dance: 7-9pm

Open to all ages. No cover. Drinks and food available from our host venue, Guido’s Bar & Grill.

Beginners welcome. No partner required. Come dance with us!

Urbana’s home-grown open mic night with performances from solo artists as well as entire bands. There are a lot of “instant bands”….made up on the spot, depending on who is in the crowd. A great vibe, a local treasure.
